Background

Formed within the CLMV cooperation framework

The Cambodia – Laos – Myanmar – Viet Nam (CLMV) Cooperation Framework was formally established at the first CLMV Summit in 2004.

At the 11th Summit (November 2024), Viet Nam took over the rotating chairmanship and proposed the initiative to develop a CLMV Master Strategy for Human Resource Development, in which Viet Nam coordinates the network of research institutes and training institutions of the four countries.

The CLMV Knowledge Portal is one component of this initiative: a shared online space where each country contributes content on an equal footing.

Free courses with quizzes and bilingual certificates, publicly verifiable by QR code.

A common space for research institutes, training institutions and management agencies of the four countries.

Four member countries

Each country manages its own content

Administrators of each country publish and approve content belonging to their country; content is presented on an equal footing, in the order Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Viet Nam.

What the Knowledge Portal provides

News and Science
Each country publishes its own content; machine translations are reviewed by language editors.
Certified courses
Videos, readings and quizzes; complete a course with a score of 70% or more to receive a certificate.
Five languages
Khmer, Lao, Burmese, Vietnamese and English for the whole interface and all content.
AI learning mentor
Answers based on lesson content, in the language the learner is using.
