Vietnamese businesses expand investment in processing industries across CLMV
A growing number of Vietnamese businesses are expanding investment into processing industries in CLMV countries, taking advantage of local raw materials and competitive production costs.

The number of Vietnamese businesses investing in processing industries in CLMV countries has been on the rise, according to recently released figures.
Projects are concentrated mainly in agricultural and food processing as well as consumer goods manufacturing, taking advantage of locally available raw materials and competitive production costs in host countries.

[Bộ Kế hoạch và Đầu tư Việt Nam] said most new investment projects are small and medium in scale, carried out by private enterprises through joint ventures with local partners.
